This week! What a week! On Tuesday I posted our vacation edit from Earl IRL (come by next week! or email me if you see something you love! [email protected]).

THEN I wrote something just for subscribers of Your Mom (kids stuff) about the kids entertainment that both my kids AND I enjoy. Things I don’t hate to listen to/read/watch (there is no Blippi on this list).

And THEN on Friday I sent out this video I did about my PRF appointment to help with my under-eyes, and also about dissolving lip filler + before and afters from Sofwave on my lower face and neck.

It was a good week in newsletterland, mostly because I’m about 99.9% done with my book. It looks so cute and great, I can’t wait for you to see it! You can pre-order a copy here!

THIS BREEZY SKIRT

I love this kind of skirt - midi-length, flowy but not too fluttery or big, feminine but not girly, and with a gestural aspect (the overlay thing on top). I’d wear this with a tucked in button down through the end of summer, and then with a cotton knit sweater (like this) and boots in the fall. Merlette, $480

I haven’t bought or really even thought about buying another pair of loafers since I got my soft ones from The Row like three or four years ago, but these have me considering it. THESE WIPES

We’re about to leave on a long-ish trip involving lots of flights, and I’m not really a germaphobey person (I abide by the 10-second rule), but I do like to have a pack of wipes handy when I’m traveling with my kids. My bud Dr Natazia zu Stolberg recommends these (plant based, ammonia and aluminum-free) so I’m going to give them a whirl on this trip. It keeps me up at night how many plastic-based baby wipes I used while my kids were babies, and I’m very very happy there are non-plastic ones so widely available now. Biom, $5

THIS C*NTY BAG

Jimmy Choo recently sent me this bag (it is not lost on me how lucky I am) and it’s not at all the usual thing I go for, I’m not really a rocker girl or a sexy girl, there is something so rocker and so sexy about it that I just cannot resist. I love it so much. It reminds me of the kind of thing I would have killed to own during my goign-out days and the inside would be all stained with lip gloss and eyeliner and it would be full of broken cigarettes and loose tampons and I would feel so POWERFUL with it. I HAVE A NEW FAVORITE BRAND FOR COMFORTABLE UNDERWEAR

Or, “big panties” though these really aren’t exactly granny panties, they’re just not skimpy. They’re so soft, made from organic cotton, and don’t pinch around the elastic parts. They come in sizes up to 2XL, and they’re just the right shape to wear under anything sheer. I’m wearing a pair right now. Pact, $50/five
