After an uncharacteristic year statistically, Jake Oettinger is aiming to find more consistency in the new season ahead. His 305 games played is already eighth in franchise history, so he has the experience and he’s still in the middle of his prime at age 27. “I don't feel like I accomplished any of my goals," Oettinger said after the season. But with a new season comes a new opportunity to do so.

DALLAS STARS FOUNDATION GRANTS

The Dallas Stars Foundation offers two types of grants to support local nonprofits and community organizations across North Texas! The purpose of the Community Grant Program is to provide monetary support to local nonprofits, while bringing in-game awareness to the organization's charitable cause. Special Project Grants are an in-kind project to refurbish or replace an existing play or learning space, court, or gym in need of repair.
