Email,
Donald Trump will stop at nothing to make it harder for millions—especially those in Black communities—to vote in the midterms.
This week he demanded that Senate Republicans cancel their August recess unless they pass the SAVE America Act — a sweeping voting restrictions bill that would require proof of a U.S. passport or a birth certificate matching a person’s legal name to register to vote. Then he asked the Supreme Court to revive his executive order restricting mail-in voting before this November's midterm elections.
As Trump doubles down on his threats, the Senate is under enormous pressure to pass the bill in the days ahead, and we need to make sure lawmakers hear from us before they cave.
Add your name today and tell the Senate: Reject Trump’s SAVE America Act.
Tell Your Senators: Hold The Line, Reject the SAVE America Act
Trump is so desperate to force these changes that earlier this month, he held up the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act–a landmark, bipartisan bill designed to boost home construction, and lower national housing costs–because he wanted Congress to pass the Save Act.
Then, last week, the House passed a bill funding the State Department that also includes provisions from the SAVE Act, while also fast-tracking a massive reconciliation package that would hand Donald Trump $10 billion to make it harder for millions of Americans to vote.
The strategy is obvious: if one path is blocked, try another. We cannot afford to let up now. Tell your senators to hold the line and reject the SAVE America Act.
Thank you for joining us to take action.
