Nigel Henderson’s Untitled (triptych), though completed in 1977, was probably begun in the 1960s: the artist worked on his collages for years, considering each one ‘a living unit in a developing dialogue’ until it was varnished or framed. It consists of 54 red, tentacle-like forms made of fabric filled with urethane foam, which seem to sprout from the floor. With the Japanese artist’s signature polka dots applied to each, like the markings on a snake, the work touches upon her ever-present themes of organic growth, repetition and cosmic infinity

This Hermès Birkin 25, from 2025, is a smart and stylish iteration of one of the brand’s best-loved handbags. It is hand-crafted from Togo leather, the pebble-grain calfskin that is a favourite with customers for its tactile and scratch-resistant finish. But what really sets it apart is the colour, a mid-tone shade known as Bleu Tie, which is a perfect foil for the bag’s gleaming palladium hardware
