BU Today is taking a short break to prepare for Move-In 2026 and the start of the fall semester. We’ll resume publishing on Friday, August 21, but if there’s breaking news to report in the interim, we’ll cover it.

Grad students, mark your calendars: BU Sustainability is hosting its second annual giveaway program, which repurposes items left behind during summer grad student move-outs and offers them to incoming grad students. This year’s event is Wednesday, August 12, and Thursday, August 13, from noon to 4 pm at 700 Beacon Street. Attendees must bring a valid BU ID.
