We donated to Operation: Care and Comfort and Women Veterans Alliance. Operation: Care and Comfort provides essential support and comfort to service members, while Women Veterans Alliance builds a supportive community that creates opportunities for women veterans to connect, grow, and thrive. |

| Nike RBI Camp |
We partnered with Nike RBI and US Sports Camps to host a free three-day baseball camp at American River College. Little Leaguers from West Sacramento Little League sharpened their skills through instruction from former players, college coaches, and current college athletes. |

| Community First Pitch |
Sixteen-year-old Jaden Fillion threw out the ceremonial first pitch before a game last month. After being diagnosed with cancer at age 13, Jaden courageously underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy with incredible strength and unwavering faith. He has now been in remission for more than two years and continues to thrive. |

Stomper visited La Familia Counseling Center’s Maple Neighborhood Center for its summer lunch program and backpack giveaway. Each child also received an A’s-themed bucket hat. |

We recognized ABC10’s Teacher of the Month recipients from the past school year during a special pregame presentation. Teacher of the Year Barbara Brooks, an educator at Shriners Children’s Northern California, threw out the ceremonial first pitch. |

| Shriners Children’s Hospital Player Visit |
Denzel Clarke, Zack Gelof, and Stomper paid a visit to Shriners Children’s Northern California in Sacramento. The group distributed giveaways, participated in arts and crafts, played games, and spent time with patients at their bedsides. |

| Sacramento SPCA at the Ballpark |
Our dog adoption program with the Sacramento SPCA continued throughout July, bringing adoptable dogs to the right-field berm during Tuesday home games. With adoption fees covered by the A’s, fans had the opportunity to meet the dogs at the ballpark and potentially welcome a new pet into their family. Of the 13 dogs that have visited the ballpark this season, 10 found their forever homes. |
