AKC Canine Health Foundation Receives Contribution from Long-Standing Purina Parent Club Partnership Program

The AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the health of all dogs through scientific research, announces that Purina has donated $78,838 in support of CHF-funded canine health research through its final contribution from the Purina Parent Club Partnership (PPCP) Program.

Presented annually, the award recognizes an AKC club that demonstrates an exceptional commitment to educating its community through outreach and programs focused on dog-related topics. Competitive dog sports have been in existence for more than 140 years, largely in part due to the competitors’ strong commitment to sportsmanship and a welcoming, respectful culture that embraces the diverse community united by a love of dogs.
