Throughout the pandemic, we have been supporting many of India’s
premier virus testing centers to help ensure continuous testing of samples
for COVID-19. And most recently with vials for hundreds of millions of
COVID-19 vaccine doses to support accelerated mass vaccination efforts
critical to ending the pandemic. None of these would have been possible
without your support. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude.
This is our first newsletter and an endeavor to keep you updated on the
innovations, products and developments within Corning Life Sciences. My
hope is that we will keep evolving the newsletter for you to find relevance
in every edition. If you have any feedback for us, do reach out to me at

Turn up the volume on your 3D cell culture
In the last few years, 3D cell culture has earned an important place in
many research labs and commercial applications. These more in vivo-like
models deliver clear benefits over traditional 2D models, but there is a
need to create these 3D models in a higher density format. The Corning
spheroid microplates, available in 96-, 384- and 1536-well formats is a tool
that supports moving 3D research into a high throughput environment. |

Corning Matrigel® Matrix® for Organoid Culture Dome
Method Protocol
New Corning® Matrigel® matrix for organoid culture is an ECM that
reduces the need for time-consuming screening, while providing the
reproducibility and consistency essential for organoid research. Each lot of
the optimized formulation is measured for matrix stiffness, a property
that supports organoid workflow and it has been verified to support
growth and differentiation of organoids. Corning Matrigel matrix for
organoid culture has successfully demonstrated growth of organoids from
both healthy and diseased cell origins and each lot is qualified to form
stable “3D dome” structures commonly used in organoid cultures. Learn
more about two ways you can perform the dome method for organoid
culture using Matrigel matrix. |
