非常感谢您对西湖大学的关注与支持。自2018年2月14日获批成立以来，西湖大学在社会各界的关爱下迅速发展壮大。截至目前，我们已吸引了157位来自世界各地的博士生导师加盟，已招收了4届共608名博士研究生，并即将于今年年底入驻占地1495亩的云谷新校区。
Thank you for your interest in and support for Westlake University. Since our establishment on February 14, 2018, Westlake University has grown rapidly thanks in large part to the support of our community and people from all walks of life. Up to now, we have attracted 157 PIs from all over the world to join us. We have recruited a total of 608 doctoral students over four classes. We will settle in our new Yungu campus by the end of this year.

3月29日，全国政协副主席、九三学社中央常务副主席邵鸿，全国政协常委、副秘书长、提案委员会副主任、九三学社中央副主席赖明率领九三学社中央重点考察调研组来校调研，参观了冷冻电镜平台、先进微纳加工与测试平台，施一公校长等参加座谈交流。
On March 29th, SHAO Hong, Vice Chair of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Executive Vice Chair of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, and LAI Ming, Standing Committee member of the CPPCC and Vice Chair of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, led a Jiusan Society inspection delegation to visit Westlake University. The delegation visited the Cryo-EM Facility and the Center for Micro/Nano Fabrication. President Yigong Shi and others participated in discussions with the delegation.

  
从中共一大会址到嘉兴南湖，西湖接力，跑向未来！
4月11日清晨7:30，2021复兴之路·薪火驿传百公里接力赛鸣枪开跑。100支参赛队的首棒选手从中共一大会址出发，分八段接力跑向浙江嘉兴南湖，以此致敬1921-2021的百年征程。代号1976的西湖大学有8位成员参加。这是跑团成员们第一次挑战集体接力，不仅顺利完成了全部132.8公里的接力赛，并且几乎都跑出了自己个人最好成绩，在100支参赛队伍中获得了第九名。

On April 12, the opening ceremony for the Westlake University-Muyuan Group Joint Research Institute (Joint Research Institute) was held in Hangzhou. The establishment of the Joint Research Institute is to carry out common ideals and technological innovation, make breakthroughs and achievements, and contribute to the betterment of society.
