14 Distinctive Elements
Creating Australias’s First Multicultural Tourism Hub.

WCTV purchased 120 hectares of land consisting of five adjacent lots in 2018, including the previous Old Sydney Town and the Australian Reptile Park. As the new land owner, we greatly appreciate the location advantage and tourism value of the land.

In the new planning concept, on the basis of reviving the Old Sydney Town and preserving the Australian Reptile Park, the entire site is enriched through 14 elements. In this way, various sections can mutually attract and support, creating a synergy effect. The goal is to build the project into Australia's first multicultural tourism hub. The new proposal was lodged withthe Central Coast Council in August 2020.

Historical Memory

The Old Sydney Town is located in Somersby on the Central Coast. It was
opened in 1975 after the imitation construction was partially completed. It
once had a glorious history, and it carries the eternal memories of a
generation.

Because its design was too single and scattered, it suffered from long-term
operating losses and was closed in 2003 after a second failure.

Since its operation in Somersby from 1996, it has attracted more than
250,000 tourists annually and is a famous tourism brand on the Central
Coast. The current area is only 54,000 square meters, and the new plan
will be expanded to 69,000 square meters.
