Since Adele De Berri first experimented with silver paint in a rented church basement to create a better projection screen at the dawn of the movie theater, Da-Lite has always been a company that asks the question, “What’s next?”
In the 1930s, this meant creating the first motorized electric screen for education and corporate use. It took nearly 20 years to catch on, but now electric screens are practically a foregone conclusion for the modern conference room.
The next big innovation turned out to be Fast-Fold portable screens, used during the rapid growth of rental screens for education.
These days, projection technology has been changing fast, requiring a company that innovates with an eye to the future. We haven’t stopped since 1909, and keep moving forward with new innovations like the IDEA™ Screen, Parallax, Flex Plex and Wireline Advantage.
What's next?
You'll see very soon.
