Introduction
The first half of 2019 witnessed China’s domestic manufacturing industry plagued by insufficient momentum, resulting from Sino-US trade friction, environmental controls, increasing personnel costs and enterprise relocations, among other factors exerting enormous pressure on the upstream supply chain. As an essential new material in manufacturing, the film industry has found itself depressed by downstream industries, including 3C electronics and automotive. Despite the rise of flexible display technology and the concurrent implementation of 5G commercial technology, the entire industry still remains sluggish. For domestic film enterprises, 2019 will prove to be a crucial year filled with both opportunities and difficulties.
As a key exhibition providing high-quality goods to the industry it serves, the FILM & TAPE EXPO organizing committee realized that a gap existed between the domestic and international film industries. To that end, its members have striven for the technological frontier by providing opportunities to showcase the industry’s most innovative products and technical solutions. The event’s annual film product unveiling has become a bona fide “film-production feast”, while additionally serving as a significant platform for professionals to observe, learn and network.
FILM & TAPE EXPO 2019 will be held concurrently with the International Coating & Die-cutting Expo (ICDE) with an aim to further enhance the exhibition’s influence and bring unique experiences to its professional audience.
The event duo will be featured on a larger scale, complete with a more comprehensive product showcase and easier show-floor navigation. Both events will cover the entire industry chain from manufacturing to terminal purchasing, offering a “mid-year feast” with high-functional film, adhesive tape, chemical raw materials, secondary processing and molding conversion equipment and accessories at its core.
