When designing a Vyrao fragrance, Yasmin and I use the IFF’s Science of Wellness program – which draws on over 40 years of research into how scent can influence our emotions – to explore boosting different feelings through fragrance. Ever 11 began with a powerful question: what does confidence smell like? We wanted to focus on self-esteem, an emotion that underpins so many others. When you feel confident, you move through the world differently, you trust yourself. We imagined a unisex fragrance with a strong presence: bold yet inviting, powerful yet deeply personal. To express that feeling, I built the scent around ingredients scientifically selected to enhance self-esteem. Black cherry brings an immediate sense of temptation and self-expression, while pink pepper adds brightness and momentum. At the heart, illuminating rose and peony reveal confidence with softness and authenticity. The base is where Ever 11 truly makes its statement. Leather evokes strength and self-assurance, patchouli adds depth and balance, while vanilla and tonka bean create a warm, enveloping signature that’s reassuring and empowering. Together, these ingredients form a neuroscientifically designed fragrance that’s proven to enhance self-esteem by 97%.
