Picking the Pen Back Up

If you've been checking your spam folder for the latest TruJoy newsletter, I apologize. It has been over a year since writing. If you’ve enjoyed the hiatus, I also apologize, you will be hearing much more from us in the coming months!

A lot has happened since you’ve heard from TruJoy and so much more is in store, literally!

Our Frozen Greek Yogurt continues to find itself in more freezers across the country, here is a list of some of the new places you can find us now:

Our ‘sales calls’ are beginning to feel more like FroYo Socials than Shark Tank pitches, that is to say they are getting much easier and much more fun.  It won’t be long before TruJoy can be found in every corner!

Big Moves and New Homes

Earlier this year we moved our factory, but rest assured it’s the same loving hands making your favorite Frozen Greek Yogurt. It’s just under a new roof.  As you may imagine, moving a frozen yogurt factory is no small task, even if only a few miles down the road.  Through the sleepless nights and spilled milk, we were able to get it done, just in the nick of time!

Yours truly also picked up and moved, not that that means much coming from a man who spent the past year living in a van. But a year on the road was about all I could take, though I loved every moment of it.  During my first lap around the country I rediscovered Santa Barbara. A few trips later I decided that was going to be home. 

Home floats and her name is Joy. So there is no need to worry - your wayward yogurt merchant has no designs to slow down. This new home is simply a vessel to spread more Joy.

Foreign Policy: Export Joy

The world is as crazy as ever. Nothing ceases to amaze me anymore, both the good and the bad. We are fortunate to be on the good side though. Three years ago, our dream was to simply stock TruJoy in freezers from coast to coast. but now we have gone beyond – all the way to Singapore!

It took 40 days by boat (not Joy) to get it there, but TruJoy is now in 50 stores on the island nation.  I’ve always had an affinity for islands, it’s only fitting that TruJoy landed on one first. And we will be shipping to more countries abroad soon!

Years ago when I wrote the company’s mission ‘to make the world a healthier and happier place’, I didn’t literally mean the world.  It’s funny what happens when you put action behind your dreams. We are now quite literally making the world a happier and more joyful place, one pint at a time!

Maybe the world is ready for more Joy coming from America.
