Let Me Count the Ways I Use My Giant Kitchen Tweezers

Let Me Count the Ways I Use My Giant Kitchen Tweezers

Kitchen tweezers aren’t just for Michelin-starred chefs meticulously plating dishes. When a pair found its way into contributor Michael Hession’s life, he realized they filled a hole in his utensil drawer he didn’t even know existed. “They look exactly like classic tweezers in your medicine cabinet, just blown up to comical proportions,” he says. “They’re all-purpose grabbers I have been using daily for a multitude of very common tasks that in the past were just a smidge annoying, gumming up an otherwise joyful kitchen experience.” Best of all, you can get two of them for $10. Read about all the ways Michael grabs, cooks, and pinches around the kitchen here.

“July was a big month for home organization; sandals (particularly comfy, city-ready flip-flops); and, as ever here at the Strategist, lipstick. Many of you were curious about author Hailee Catalano’s sandwich mustard, Andie’s flattering and not-too-expensive Malibu swimsuit, and the novel concept of using restaurant-supply-store sugar bowls as coffee-table catchalls.” —Katherine Gillespie, writer. Read about everything else readers liked and saved last month here. (And here’s how to save products on the site to shop later.)
