We like to imagine that we know who we are rather well. We have, after all, spent a great deal of time in our own company. And yet, the same question comes to all of us – are there certain parts of who we are that everyone can see, except ourselves?
We need intentional time, both alone and the honest company of others, to answer this question – so we’ve put together a few ways for you to do exactly that.

Traditionally, aristocratic families would have a ‘coat of arms’ painted onto a shield, or carved above the fireplace. It might reference our origins, stories, or meaningful symbols, and if others see it, they will be able to interact with us properly.
In the same way, people can’t be relied upon to understand us for themselves. This type of imagery helps us convey the most important parts, rather rapidly. What would be on your coat of arms? Take a moment to draw or write down.
