| | Top stories of the week | | by Tarah Chieffi, Senior writer | | | Hello, and happy Sunday! I’m spending the last weekend before the school year starts camping with my family. I hope you are doing something that you find equally relaxing.
However you choose to recharge for the week ahead, here’s what you might have missed on TPG this week. - Three new U.S. airports are joining this new security program that promises faster screening and shorter waits, but critics aren’t quite convinced.
- I can’t remember the last time I didn’t pick up a Starbucks coffee before flying. If you weren’t aware, members of this major U.S. airline loyalty program can now earn 1 mile per $1 spent at participating Starbucks locations.
- I’ve never flown first class, but I may be able to foot the bill when this budget airline adds domestic first-class seats next year. (Psst … the airline is adding free soda, juice and water for all passengers, too!)
And that’s the news. Have a great day and an even better week!
