USO Supporter,
Just wanted to make sure you saw the message below.
Yesterday was Purple Heart Day, a time set apart to honor service members who were wounded or lost their lives in action while serving our country.
We set out to collect 25,000 signatures to show them their sacrifice is seen, and we fell just short of our goal. It only takes a moment to send a powerful message to wounded service members and their families that they're not forgotten.
There's still time to make a difference. Add your name to the card today.
For the People Who Serve,
Sydney Jones

USO Supporter,
I'm Kionte Storey.
As a retired Marine and combat veteran, I know firsthand the sacrifices service members make. While on a patrol in Afghanistan, an IED explosion took my right leg.
I didn't serve for a medal, but receiving the Purple Heart is something I carry with me every day. There have been so many that have received this medal before me and many after, representing our service and sacrifice.
Today is Purple Heart Day. It's a time to recognize the men and women who were wounded or lost their lives in action and their families. I can tell you from personal experience, the support of fellow Americans means so much during one of the most challenging times a service member can face.

Recovery doesn't end when service members leave the battlefield, and that's where the USO steps in.
At USO Warrior and Family Centers, those healing from injuries find a place to rest, get visits from canine therapy dogs, connect with loved ones and focus on moving forward. Support like this helps service members rebuild and continue on.
When you sign the USO's Purple Heart Day Card, you help send a message to heroes and their families across the world: You are not forgotten, your sacrifice matters and we stand with you.
So please, take a moment to add your name today.
