Last week I asked you to write to your local representative about the November hemp ban.
(Thank you if you did.)
I'm writing again because the situation has changed, but not in our favor.
2 things happened this week:
1) The US Senate released a continuing resolution (CR) to extend the federal hemp ban from 12 November to 11 December.
If passed, this would give Congress more time to create a real regulatory framework instead (and give businesses like ours more time to act).
2) Senator Ted Budd proposed an amendment that has now put this extension at risk.
If it goes through, we're back on the November 12 track: a ban that would pull most hemp products off the shelves in this country, including the ones you order from us.
So I’m asking for your support again:
This time it’s a letter to your Senators, not your representative.
