There's something special about meeting a shelter animal in person.
Maybe it’s the wagging tail that won’t stop. Or the curious kitten who climbs into your lap. Or the shy cat who finds comfort in your touch.
That’s what Clear the Shelters is all about: creating joyful connections that last a lifetime.
At the San Francisco SPCA, Name Your Price adoption fees continue all month long for cats and dogs 5 months or older. Now is a wonderful time to stop by our shelter and see who’s waiting to meet you.

On Saturday, August 22, we’re celebrating Clear the Shelters with an all-day celebration featuring FREE adoption fees for all available animals, plus food trucks, community partners, family-friendly activities, and many more animals to meet, including lots of kittens.
