Email,

Across America, too many families are being forced to make an intolerable choice: pay for the care they need—or pay for groceries, or rent, or utility bills.

For millions of Americans, even having health insurance no longer guarantees affordable healthcare.

Congressional actions in Washington, D.C., are driving up health care costs. Rising insurance premiums, higher deductibles, and skyrocketing prescription drug prices are putting lifesaving care further out of reach.

At the same time, recent changes to the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid are expected to increase costs, reduce coverage, and deepen health disparities, disproportionately harming Black communities and other historically underserved populations.

The NAACP believes healthcare is a civil and human right and has continued calling on lawmakers to protect affordable coverage while advancing a healthcare system that is accessible, equitable, and affordable for everyone.

Before we determine our next advocacy steps, we want to hear directly from our supporters. Take a moment to share your response now >>
