Hi there, Under-eye makeup often gets heavier when we try too hard to make it look better. We add more brightener. Then blend it farther out. Then add powder everywhere, just to be safe. Unfortunately, the skin beneath the eyes tends to remember every extra decision. The easier method is almost annoyingly simple: Use less Under Eye Brightener than you think you need. Place it only where the shadow is darkest, usually near the inner corner and directly over the area that looks tired. Then tap it into place with the Precision Puff. Pressing helps the formula blend without pulling it across the skin or disturbing everything underneath. Sweeping from the lash line toward the cheek usually spreads the product far beyond where it is needed. And when it comes to setting, be selective. If your brightener tends to move, press a very light amount of powder only over that area. There is no need to cover the entire under-eye by default. Less product. Less dragging. Less powder. The result looks smoother, brighter, and much more like well-rested skin than heavily corrected skin! Sometimes the best under-eye technique is simply knowing when to stop. TRY THE LESS-IS-MORE METHOD With love, Lucia
