This September at Lightroom, King's Cross

Hi Andrew,

Humanity is on trial... and the verdict is in your hands.

This September, experience something unlike anything you've seen before as GAWD v. The People makes its world public premiere at Lightroom.

For six nights only, step inside an immersive courtroom where an AI judge will decide whether humanity deserves another chance. As the case unfolds, you'll witness a live, unscripted trial in which AI characters debate our future. Three audience members will be selected to testify on behalf of humanity, while a cast of AI witnesses presents the case against us.

Every response influences the outcome, meaning no two performances will ever be the same.

Blending theatre, technology and audience participation, GAWD v. The People asks one of the biggest questions of our time:

Do humans deserve to stay on the planet and get another chance?

- Kim Alpert, nilor Executive Producer

"The show can be profound, hilarious or disturbing  - but critically, as the show responds in real time to audience members no two shows will ever be the same - we are in the hands of both our human participants and agentic AI!"

- Richard Slaney, Lightroom CEO

Officially selected for the Immersive Competition at Cannes 2026, GAWD v. The People comes to Lightroom for its first presentation outside of festivals.

Performances take place on 17–19 and 24–26 September, with shows at 7pm and 9pm each evening.
