Vacation Outfits via Earl IRL

I’m going out of town for most of August (the shop won’t be closed the whole time! Morgan will be there!) and I’m starting to look around the store and think about what I want to pack. We have a nice little selection of summer travel things right now, but here are some of my favorites. Email me, [email protected] if anything catches your eye, AND! An excellent chiffon printed button down and coordinating wrap skirt from Chan Luu (with a chan luu sequin bag!) AND sunglasses from Selima Optique. I love this set so much, It’s great separately and over a swimsuit, but also makes a fabulous outfit on its own. A nice thing to have a look that can do double uses if you’re trying to pack in just a carry on. Here are the Herbert Levine sandals we have right now.

This Suzie Kondi skirt is such a winner. It has generous pockets and is flowy and breezy (better than shorts) but also has enough heft that it doesn’t blow up in the wind. The shirt is Comme Si and is nice casually, but can also be dressed up in an excellent 90s Great Expectations way (heaven).

Just the prettiest, dreamiest white dress from Rohe and the Raffia slope bag from Esha Soni. I want it.

I cannot believe we still have a pair of these High Sport floral pants in stock (size XS!) but if we still have them at the end of this week they’re mine.

A terrific travel day outfit—wide-leg pants from Rohe and a terry tee from Suzie Kondi. I love this stripe tee! We also have full blown terry travel sets from Suzie K.

And an oversized mirror bag from Chan Luu! Great travel/beach bag.

Oh man there are few things I love more than a sarong (this one is Chan Luu) with a real top (this is the softest, lightest weight cashmere tee from Lisa Yang). When I was little, I used to like to hold my kitten inside my shirt against my bare skin. This shirt feels just like that.

Another perfect little cashmere sweater from Lisa Yang! This time paired with mine very favorite shorts, the long board shorts from Made Some (we do some shorts and pants from Made Some at the store!). I super extra love these sunglasses with the pink lenses!

I only look unhappy here because I was rushing to shoot this while my family ate breakfast down the street, and I was hungry for waffles. These Tibi pants are fucking perfect. A tiny bit of stretch, but not so much that the bag and sag. And then! This argyle cardigan from Zankov. Man. It is so good. Great with pants, great over a little dress to go out to eat at night beach-side when you might get a little chilly.

Flore Flore makes the best tee shirts, hands down. You could make an entire vacation wardrobe with one button down, one FF tee, and one FF tank and you’d be set on tops. I love this one with this Kallmeyer skirt, which also has pockets, but is great for all the same reasons the Suzie Kondi one is. This one can just be styled to look a bit more formal. You can wear this anywhere and everywhere. Oh! And the Cahu bag! Great for on the plane, great for on the trip.

This Chan Luu tunic is so beautiful. You can wear it without the slip dress underneath as a very special beach cover up (it’s beaded!), or the slip alone, or both together as a dress. The beading is very special, and it all feels like a real treasure.
