Hi Andy,
Three years ago, a tiny Flame Point Siamese kitten arrived at the San Francisco SPCA. At just three months old, he needed surgery to remove a damaged eye. After recovering at our shelter, he was ready for his fresh start.
|
|
|
|
That fresh start came two weeks later, when his adopter fell in love with his playful personality. They renamed him Billy, inspired by the one-eyed pirate captain from The Goonies, and today he's thriving in his new home.
This August, we're hoping to create many more stories like Billy's during Clear the Shelters, a nationwide adoption campaign dedicated to helping shelter animals find loving homes.

While we're celebrating animals finding homes today, August is also Make a Will Month, a reminder that planning for the future can make a lasting difference.
