The piano allows me to improvise and have a real-time musical conversation with the audience. DJing is about curating energy, but playing keys lets me create something unique in that exact moment. It’s the closest thing to speaking through music.

When I started learning music production, I was often the only woman in the room. I realised there were so many talented women and gender-expansive creators who simply didn’t have access to the same opportunities, networks, or education. FEMME HOUSE was born from wanting to create the kind of community and support system I wish had existed when I was starting out. If we want the industry to change, we have to actively create spaces where more people can succeed.

It changes over time, but I never get tired of playing records that create a true emotional connection on the dance floor. If a song makes people feel something together, I’ll always find a way to bring it back. YOU ARE would be a highlight, and of course my remix of Deal by the Grateful Dead to stay rooted in my family history.​

Every country has its own magic, but I’m constantly amazed by how connected dance music communities are around the world. Some of my most memorable experiences have come from places where I didn’t know what to expect and was blown away by the energy and passion of the crowd.

Comfort, confidence, and a splash of Daisy Jones when possible. I need to be able to move, perform, and feel like myself. If an outfit is comfortable enough to wear for hours but still feels special, that’s usually the sweet spot.

WHAT DOES YOUR OFF-STAGE WARDROBE LOOK LIKE?

Very relaxed! I love oversized layers, vintage pieces, great denim, comfortable sets, and clothes that feel effortless. When I’m not performing, I’m usually prioritizing comfort because I spend so much time traveling.​
